More back woods mumblings and rural Hip Hop jams from Yorkshire maverick blues man Scott Wainwright. This, his fourth outing on the SAW MUSIC label finds our hero stretching out into some Takoma styled guitar pieces and further wanderings into folk and gospel territory.
Joined by a host of co-conspirators which include Darren Kelsall (Hamerex), Cassius C Langhorne (Bootscraper), Adam Richards (Spirit of John), Chris ‘the Man in the Hat’ Martin, Peter Scott, The Full Life Gospel Choir and regular collaborator Lisa Marie Glover, seat belts are left unbuckled as knuckles whiten on the ride of a life time.
The songs are an exploration of the human condition, spiritual journeying and of the optimism of hope. Scott also considers the possibility of being ‘Wrong’ about every thing and muses on continuing cosmological issues.
All in all, an album for the journeying of the soul, through the valleys and on to the mountain tops.
